Blueberry Picking Tips

1

Look for Deep Blue

Ripe blueberries are deep blue with a dusty white coating called "bloom." If they're reddish or green, leave them to ripen.

2

Gentle Roll

Gently roll ripe berries with your thumb β€” they should drop right into your hand. No tugging needed!

3

Come Early

Beat the heat! Morning hours are cooler and the berries are at their firmest and freshest.

4

Store Right

Don't wash until ready to eat. Store unwashed berries in the fridge for up to 10 days, or freeze for months.
